Stories in Sound

As a young man I struggled with my identity constantly finding reasons to deny the possibility of being gay. Part of this, stems from being in a small costal town with no LGBTQ+ community as well as poor education about the awareness of different types of people and their genders/ sexualities. This minimal education partnered with fellow peers teasing and questioning my own orientation, left me with no choice. There is no way I could be gay. What does being gay really mean? When I say gay in terms of a male stereotype, it automatically implies flamboyant and confident.
Is this really me?
I know it is not.
